Up until now I've never had anything to compare them too. I've always been impressed with the quality of the LICEcap videos, they're a little jerky but they're fairly clear, clear enough to read the menus and such.
Since it's not free I don't know if I'll mess with it any more, maybe. Heh heh, I'm sure there's a shortcut key but I didn't know what it was so I ended up having to shut down my computer. I did try to record with it but when I hit record, the record button completely disappeared and I had no way to stop it. I downloaded the BB_FlashBack which was supposedly free for life but it's not, it tells me I've got 30 days when I bring it up. Other than that I really don't mind the watermark because what I'm recording is for a friend and it doesn't matter much. I tried different settings but it still had a slight blur to it.
More importantly I couldn't get a decent picture, always slightly blurred. I could direct it to a folder but it wouldn't let me name the files. I got Bandicam to work okay but it's pretty klunky. I DLed and tried BB_FlashBack and Bandicam.
